ABS - (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a thermoplastic which is produced from fossil fuels. Because of its toughness and strength ABS is a very popular and commonly used thermoplastic.
PLA - (Polylactic Acid) is different than most thermoplastic polymers in that it is derived from renewable resources like corn starch or sugar cane. PLA has much less tendency to warp compared to ABS.
TPU - (Thermoplastic polyurethane) is a unique plastic bridging the gap between rubbers and plastics. It has great elastic properties and is very durable/resistant to stresses.
