Active & Manual Bed Leveling

When starting a print, the printer will automatically perform active leveling, creating a precise heightmap of the build plate surface for each print core. This helps compensate for any potential imperfections and guarantees a reliable first layer. The build plate height will be adjusted during printing, using this information.

Print Core Calibration

The UltiMaker S5 comes with pre-calibrated print cores, allowing you to start printing immediately. If you need to change nozzle types, the software assisted XY offset calibration feature makes it easy to ensure proper alignment. This calibration information is then stored on the printer for future use, making it a one-time process.
