Bambu Lab AM2 2 Pro Switching Adapter

If you need to dry filament in multiple AMS 2 Pro units simultaneously, each additional AMS 2 Pro must be powered using an official Bambu Lab Switching Adapter.

When using the AMS 2 Pro’s drying function with an X1, P1, or A1 Series printer, each AMS 2 Pro requires its own official Bambu Lab Switching Adapter for power.

For H2 & P2 Series

1. Connecting a Single AMS 2 Pro

• A single AMS 2 Pro can be powered and dried by the printer directly, no additional Switching Adapter is required.

2. Connecting Multiple AMS 2 Pro Units Together

• If the drying function is enabled for multiple units, each AMS 2 Pro requires its own Switching Adapter.
• Even if only one unit is drying, the system power may automatically reduce, leading to insufficient drying. It is recommended to use a power adapter to ensure optimal drying performance.

For X1 & P1 Series

1. Drying Function Required

• A power adapter must be used when enabling the drying function to ensure sufficient power.

2. Connecting Multiple AMS 2 Pro Units Together

• If the drying function is enabled for multiple units, each AMS 2 Pro requires its own Switching Adapter.

3. Drying Function Not Required

• The switching adapter is not required.
