The Ortur Air Pump is an external device which blows away cutting residues from your laser cutting or engraving machine. This helps to effectively improve the engraving and cutting performance of your machine and give you a more polished end product.
Why Do I Need an Air Pump?
Below you can see an image of 2 designs cut out on plywood. As you can see on the first image, without the air assist there is a lot of overburn on the final product whereas the second image has no discolouration due to overburn and looks like a more polished product.
How to Install the Air Pump
Installation of the Ortur Air Pump is very simple.
- Connect the pipe connector to the Air Pump
- Connect the air pipe to the pipe connector
- Connect the other end of the air pipe to the top of your laser head
- Plug the Air Pump into power
