Is the air-assist included?
In a recent move Darkly Labs now include their Air-Assist Add On as standard in the Emblaser 2.
What is the warranty?
The Emblaser 2 has a 1 year warranty period however all orders will enjoy a 3 year warranty on the laser diode.
What software do I need?
LightBurn .The next generation of software for the entire range of Emblaser machines. LightBurn is a simple to use, yet powerful multi-platform program for controlling your Emblaser 1 & 2. You can install the product on up to two machines at a time, so people with Mac/PC setups, or a PC in the house and one in the shop will be covered. Does the Emblaser 2 have a sketch, trace & cut feature?
Yes it does. You can sketch a drawing on paper, then simply put it inside the Emblaser 2 and the camera will scan & trace your drawing, then you can simply engrave your design onto glass, metal, acrylic, wood or fabric. read more
If I leave the coating on clear and translucent acrylic can I then cut it?
No unfortunately you can not trick light. The laser will cut the covering but not the material.
How do I find a material's best engraving setting?
One of the trickiest parts of laser cutting is determining the best laser settings for your material. This tutorial will show you how we do this for any material you want to use.

What materials shouldn't you cut with the Emblaser 2?
Materials that you must not use on any laser cutter includes PVC, VINYL, ABS, FIBERGLASS, COATED CARBON FIBER and ANY MATERIAL CONTAINING CHLORINE.
Using these materials within your machine will produce extremely toxic fumes, leading to severe health issues and machine damage.
