Airwood Wooden DIY Drone is a series of four-axis drones with a wooden DIY structure as the frame. It uses universal controllers, motors, batteries, remote controls and other modules to install unmanned aerial frames with different structures.
Environmentally Friendly Material
Airwood uses FSC international certified high quality eucalyptus laminates, which are processed from a whole board by high-precision laser cutting, which is healthy and environmentally friendly. Both the wood supplier and the wood cutting factory are the same suppliers to Disney. The quality is very reliable. The thickness of each board is manually measured, and each bayonet size is adjusted according to the thickness to ensure that each board has the same assembly strength.
Lightweight and Portable
The wheelbase of the aircraft is about 12cm, and the average weight of the aircraft us en than 8g (with battery), which is only the weight of a mobile phone. You can carry it with you wherever you go!
High quality eucalyptus laminates cut with high-precision laser cutting allows all the parts to be tightly connected. All parts are assembled using traditional knives without any tools.
The patented electronic module mounting structure enables simple installation and removal of electronic modules without the need for tools and without damaging the board. The installation is simple and even younger children can operate independently.

Unlike the simple integrated chip that toys usually use, we use a high-performance "Cortex-M3" core professional microprocessor, imported directly from the original factory, acting as the brain of the aircraft, providing us with faster computing speed, higher operaional efficiency and more powerful features.
Adaptive AI Algorithm
The flight control system uses the adaptibe AI algorithm. Whether you are using our standard wood frame or replacing it with your own DIY wood frame, the flight control system automatically detects the overall performance of the drone and optimizes the parameters through the AI algorithm to suit the current structure. This makes flight control as stable and comfortable as ever.
Barometer Altitude Holding & Visual Positioning
The visual positioning sensor intelligently analyzes the postion information by continuously collecting the ground pattern, and combines the barometer to stably control the height, so that the aircaraft can hover in the air without touching the remote controller. Flight operations are simpler and aerial photography is no longer blurred.
720P hugh-definition camera, just plug in directly when using, you can realize WIFI real-time image transmission through the mobile phone app. It can be easily removed when not in use for better flight performance.
A Little Surprise
When you don't use the remote control phone holder, you can take it off and install the expression board, it becomes a very cute little robot. Its hands and feet can even move.
Multiple Flight Modes
Whether you are accustomed to using the left hand throttle or the right hand throttle operation mode, you can easily change it by dialing the code on the back of the remote. At the same time, we also provide a beginner mode that limits the flight height and prevents danger or damage caused by flying oo high.
Programming us like building blocks. Drag various command modules to the programming area, upload them to the drone, and use the remote control to turn them on, then the drone can perform automatically. The programming software was developed by Google and the Beijing Normal University team.
The wooden material of the frame gives Airwood unlimited imagination. We can design the structure, engraving patters, painting and so on. At this moment, Airwood is no longer a product we offer, but a creative work that you give yourself.
