Benefits

The Arduino Education Starter Kit includes all the hardware and software required for eight students working in pairs. It provides step-by-step lessons, teacher notes, and exercises to support classroom learning. Additional optional resources—such as activities, background concepts, historical context, and interesting facts—are also included to enrich the overall learning experience.

The online platform contains teacher materials, nine 90-minute lessons, and two open-ended group projects designed to introduce students to coding and electronics. Each lesson builds on the previous one, allowing students to gradually develop and apply their skills and understanding. Students also use an engineering logbook to document their progress as they complete each lesson.

At the beginning of every lesson, teachers are provided with an overview, estimated completion time, and learning objectives. Teacher notes and guidance are included throughout to support smooth lesson delivery. Extension ideas are also provided at the end of each lesson for further exploration.
