What is the recommended ambient temperature and humidity for the X1 series printer?
The recommended ambient temperature of the P1 series printer is 10℃ - 30℃ (50°F - 86°F). The recommended humidity level is under 85%.
Is the heated chamber of the X1 series actively heated?
No. The chamber temperature increases based on the temperature set for the heated bed and cannot be precisely controlled.
Is the filament buffer needed for single filament printing? (For X1 or P1 Series)
When printing with a single spool of filament, the buffer is not needed, since the filament spool itself can be considered as a 'buffer'.
What kind of maintenance is expected for the X1/X1C?
The X1/X1C doesn't need a lot of maintenance. Here's a link to a complete list of parts that can be consulted in this link.
What is the function of the X1 Series's buttons on top?
The left button is used to wake up the screen, and the second button is used to stop a print.
Are other slicers compatible with the X1/X1C?
Yes, third-party slicers are supported, but they are not compatible with some functions of the printer like First Layer Inspection and AMS. We strongly recommend using Bambu Studio for the best print results.
Is the LED light needed for the AI stuff to work?
Yes, vision inspection needs to be performed with LED light, but its accuracy is affected by factors such as ambient light, algorithm accuracy, sensitivity settings, etc., making it difficult to achieve 100% accurate identification. We will continue to improve the precision of our algorithms.
Can I upgrade my X1C to the X1E? If so, what accessories will I need to purchase?
Unfortunately, the X1C can not be upgraded to X1E using accessories.
The X1C printers do not support the installation of the chamber heating module and the wired network module. Additionally, the hotend assembly of the X1E, including the heater, NTC, and thermal grease, is not compatible with the X1C.
