Why other graphic cards with "higher spec" are not compatible with EinScan Pro?
EXScan Pro is optimized for Nvidia GTX graphic cards. The resources allowed for scanning are different from the ones required for CAD or gaming. The use of other cards, outside of the recommended ones, can result in the software lag or crashes.
How to scan dark objects?
Once you are at the optimal working distance, increase the brightness, until some data is captured. However, with higher brightness settings, more noise is captured.
For a better result you can, prior to scanning, apply some spray on the surface:
Scan spray for metrology applications projects an extremely thin layer, so the shape is not affected.
Why is it difficult to scan large objects?
Scanning large objects can be challenging because of:
- The numerical limit of the software.
- The maximum distance in one direction is 4m. The size limit is 8000*point-distance. Therefore, you reduce the resolution to achieve a singular large scan data.
- The cumulative error.
