Just a quick note to let you know how we are progressing with the use of the 3D printers we purchased off you recently. We have two running quite frequently as students are beginning to realize the capabilities of these machines together with the ease of use. We have had years 8, 9 and 10 students exposed to this technology and have witnessed a real uptake in interest with respect to the use of our 3D CAD programs so that they can then manufacture their design on the 3D printers.
We have also introduced some mathematical concepts into the production stage such as volume and the costs related to this as well as percentages of waste. As you can see we are well on the way to quite a successful little program. Many thanks for all of your help and advice with regards to the purchase of this product.

All in all I love my 3D printer and the challenges and opportunities it presents. The students and classroom visitors never tire of watching the print head whirring around building a model and it has made the whole process of design a lot more exciting for all concerned.
