The :MOVE Motor Klaw is a fun and easy-to-install upgrade for the Kitronik :MOVE Motor buggy for the BBC micro:bit. Designed with flexibility in mind, it can be mounted either vertically or horizontally using just a single bolt. The kit also includes two types of Klaw attachments, tailored for each mounting option.
The Klaw is operated by a low-voltage servo (included), which controls the opening and closing mechanism. Power and control signals are supplied directly from the :MOVE Motor via the onboard pin headers—just plug the servo lead into the headers, and you're ready to go.
You can program the :MOVE Motor Klaw using either MakeCode or MicroPython. Step-by-step online guides are available to help you get started, along with full build instructions—links can be found in the FREE Resources tab.
